When Can You Not Be Eligible For Free Cancellation?

You will not be eligible for any free cancellation under the following circumstances: 

1. You have booked for an unaccompanied minor.
2. There was a change in the booking previously 
3. You booked by using a Flight Credit  or may have even opted for the Buy Now Pay Later option. 
4. There has been split in your original booking, where one or more passengers have been separated.

What Else Can Be Refunded with the Free Cancellation Option?

When you cancel your reservation in 24 hours from booking, you’ll be eligible for doing the same free of charge. Alongside this, some additional ancillary products will be refunded as well, which include:

• Pre-paid seat requests 
• Pre-paid extra baggage allowance
• Voluntary carbon program contributions 

However, there are some things which can’t be refunded or cancelled. These include:

• Car reservations

How to Cancel Your Qantas Flight?

Follow the steps mentioned below and you will be good to go: 

1. Go to Qantas’ official website, check Manage Booking option or you can even log into your account.
2. You will find the cancel button above the Flights panel option. Select the cancel button. Review your information in the pop up window. 
3. If you find the pop-up window provides you with the “Cancel for any reason” policy, then you’ll be allowed to cancel sans any charge. 
4. The refund for your flight value and additional products (if eligible) will be credited to your original payment mode.
